Editorial standards

Credibility is a practice, not a visual style.

Sources and evidence

We prioritize primary documents: original research, government advisories, technical specifications and company announcements. Vendor claims are attributed. We distinguish facts from interpretation and avoid invented interviews, quotes, statistics and eyewitness reporting. Source links are available on every article.

Bylines

Our authors are Luca Moretti, Adrian Keller, Elias van Dijk, Julien Mercier, Tomasz Kowalski, Daniel Kovac, Alexander Bergmann, Mikhail Volkov. Each article identifies its author and links to that author’s coverage. Luca Moretti is the publisher and editorial contact.

Dates

Evergreen articles in the launch collection have assigned edition dates between April 1 and October 1, 2026. These dates organize the archive and do not document a historical publication schedule. News analysis records the verified event or announcement date separately. Daily coverage editions group recent developments by an editorial date, including retrospective additions. Edition dates do not imply that an article was published on that day. Actual first publication and any material update are displayed on the article and used in structured metadata.

News analysis

News analysis explains the implications of a sourced development. It may discuss plausible outcomes but does not present a forecast as an observed fact. Our launch coverage has an October 1, 2026 event cutoff. Retrospectives in that collection should be read in that context. New coverage identifies its own event date and sources.

Cybersecurity attribution

We identify which authority or researcher made an attribution and preserve the uncertainty in its assessment. Access, exposure, confirmed theft and operational disruption are separate claims. We do not equate an announced takedown with permanent elimination of a threat.

Corrections

When a material fact changes, the article should explain the correction and record its date. Minor spelling and formatting fixes may be made without a correction note. The launch edition does not contain a fabricated correction history.

Images

Editorial photographs are credited with source and licensing information. Context photographs illustrate the subject and are not presented as images of a specific incident. Responsive crops are identified for licensed images.
